I am going to admit that I like to bake, a lot!!! I have been baking away after working at the farmhouse everyday, I love the relaxation it gives me. Some of you are like, what? I know it’s crazy, but true. Well, Brion is reaping the benefits anyway. I love this recipe for blueberry pie and of course, be sure and make your crust from scratch! I posted a great recipe for crust, if you need it again please message me.
3/4 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 4 cups blueberries, 2 pie crusts (one for 9-inch pie dish and one for lattice on top of pie), 1 tablespoon butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cinnamon and mix with blueberries. Line pie dish with one pie crust. Pour berry mixture into the crust and dot with butter. Cut remaining pastry or pie crust into strips to make lattice top. Bake for 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Good things come to those who bake!!
