If you died today would you go to heaven? That’s a question Rev. Billy Graham asked every time he preached. Even in his speech at the Congressional Medal of Honor, it was the same speech which included the Gospel. At his funeral, his son got up and spoke and asked “If this was your funeral, would you be in heaven?”
God loves you and he tells us that in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.
The result of our sin and the gift of God in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but he gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
There is one way in John 14:6 “Jesus said, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me’”.
Salvation is a gift in Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is a gift from God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Invitation in Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Prayer of Salvation
I’m a sinner. Please forgive me.
Come into my life and cleanse me of my unbelief.
I believe in you and in salvation through the blood of Jesus.
I turn from sin and trust in Jesus along as my Savior.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
