Banana Bread with Dark Chocolate

Banana Bread with Dark Chocolate Chips and Pecans

This recipe is very easy and we love how moist the bread tastes and with a sweet treat of dark chocolate!

 

 

Ingredients:

1 stick unsalted butter (room temperature)
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
3-4 ripe bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup dark chocolate chips
½ cup chopped pecans, optional

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9X5 loaf pan. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together for about 2 minutes until smooth. Whisk in the egg then add the mashed bananas and vanilla. Mix until well combined. Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix until well combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and pecans.

Pour mixture into the loaf pan. Bake 55-65 minutes until a knife inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
