Unspeakable Joy Devotional

God’s creations. Genesis 1:9-13 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land”, and the gathered waters he called “seas”. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds. And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning-the third day”.

So many days I find myself too busy. Most of us are guilty of filling our days to the fullest extent of the hours allowed. I repeatedly make a point to pause at more things like sunrises, sunsets, the amazing view of a hilltop, birds, flowers, trees, animals, people….all God’s creations. Yesterday I stopped and took a picture of some bluebonnets that are starting to appear all over our area.  Today take time to recognize God’s goodness and creation all around us and be thankful for today.

Mornings are God’s way of saying more time!
Live life…
Make a difference…
Touch one’s heart…
Encourage one’s mind…
And inspire one’s soul!
Happy moments, PRAISE God.
Difficult moments, SEEK God.
Quiet moments, WORSHIP God.
Painful moments, TRUST God.
Every moment, THANK God.

In the books of Psalms 19:1 David declares “the heavens declare the glory of God”. Despite your circumstance today, stop and reflect on His goodness, giving Him the glory He rightly deserves!

The Word of God is like a seed. Plant it in Your Heart.
