Rest your soul in Jesus. I read this a yesterday and the author in unknown to me:

you can eat all the kale,
buy all the things,
lift all the weights,
take all the trips,
trash all that doesn’t spark joy,
wash your face and hustle like mad,
but if you don’t rest your soul in Jesus,
you’ll never find your peace and purpose

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus invites us to come to Him, exchange yokes, and find rest through Him. We all bear burdens and become weary, in different ways and for different reasons. When you are weary, Jesus invites you to come and take His light yoke of believing in Him. Believe, abide, and follow Jesus’ example. And you will find rest for your soul.

“For God along, O my soul, wait in silence,
For my hope is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation,
My fortress; I shall not be shaken.
Oh God rests my salvation and my glory;
My mighty rock, my refuge is God.”
Psalm 62:5-7

Jesus is our only salvation, our fortress, our mighty rock and our refuge. He is the one to answer every question, concern, fear, and need we will ever have. For our hope is from Him. Only in Him will we find rest for our souls.

Jesus, I am tired. My mind is frazzled, my hands are full, and my emotions are reeling with all the things I have to do. Help me to come to you in the middle over the overwhelm. Remind me of your ever-present help in my times of need. Show me how to rest in You. Reveal to me both the beauty in the work and in the rest. Calm my anxious thoughts and encourage my heart with Your nearness. Instruct me in your ways. Bring productivity and contentment out of the peace and comfort I find. Settle me in Your truth and in Your love. Amen S.Smith

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you His peace at all times and in every situation.”  2 Thessalonians 3:16
