Special Day of Prayer. Franklin Graham has called for a Special Day of Prayer today for our President.

“President Trump’s enemies continue to try everything to destroy him, his family, and the presidency. In the history of our country, no president has been attacked as he has. I believe the only hope for him, and this nation, is God.

This is a critical time for America. We’re on the edge of a precipice. Time is short. We need to pray for God to intervene. We need to ask God to protect, strengthen, encourage, and guide the President.

We know that God hears and answers prayer. He can soften hearts and change minds. He is all-powerful, and He rules over the affairs of nations. The Bible instructs us to pray for those in authority, “that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.” 1 Timothy 2:2-3”

1 Timothy 2:1-4 “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

May we ask the Lord to protect the President and to be a shield around him. To pray that he will have a heart to know the Lord and to follow in His ways. That the President surround himself with godly men and women. That any plans to harm the President or his family will be thwarted. That Christians will answer this call to prayer and intercede.

Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

As Christians, let us respond to this call to intercede, we will see God pour out His power in miraculous ways. Let’s not sit back and be apathetic. Let’s hit our knees and pray for our president!
